    Our pastor has spent all of his professional years serving the people of New York City. He has served our church since 2008. He is a preacher, teacher, scholar, survivor, counselor, and so much more. He's married to Amanda. Timothy and Amanda have three daughters and a son that they absolutely treasure as gifts of God.


    Our pastor carries out his ministry in both English and Spanish.

    Timothy is a regular contributor to the The Notable PodcastHe has authored other works for podcasts, journals, and books. His debut book, Deep as the Sea, is available for purchase. He continues to serve as the supervising pastor of pastoral interns (vicars).  In addition, he is a member of the North Atlantic District (NAD) Mission Board and the circuit pastor for the Hudson-Delaware Circuit of the NAD.

    Our vicar was recently assigned to serve the people of New York City here at Sure Foundation Lutheran Church. Vicar comes from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI, where he studies for the noble task of being an overseer of God's flock. Vicar can be found running in the streets and parks of Queens or enjoying the restaurant scene of Woodside. Vicar lives with his wife Annika and their son in Queens. 


    Our vicar is bilingual in English and Spanish.

    Experience

    Samuel has experience with on-the-ground mission work for churches in the Phoenix area, the Twin Cities, Florida, and Milwaukee. He also studied Spanish in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Medellin, Colombia. This helped him serve at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, in Milwaukee, WI, a bilingual congregation, for the last two years.
